Broker-Owner Emily Covey is a native Houstonian and third generation REALTOR®. Before opening her own brokerage in 2018, Emily spent more than a decade representing buyers and sellers as a Broker Associate for Houston’s long-time premier luxury real estate firm, John Daugherty, Realtors. Emily loves working with first-time buyers as well as her loyal, repeat clients. She has a passion for homes built in the early twentieth century, but an appreciation for design and of architecture of any age. From remodeling and staging advice to negotiation and home maintenance expertise, no detail is missed when you work with Emily. She excels in spatial planning and efficiencies, and has experience remodeling her own homes as well as rental property. Emily is the mother of two girls, a devoted wife and has three fur babies. A civic leader, Emily served on her Montrose neighborhood's civic association for many years before moving to West University Place. Emily volunteers for her children's school, as well as for non-profit organizations such as the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Bo's Place. She enjoys managing and maintaining her historic rental property in Montrose and is always on the search for her next project.
